Acrobat Read Out Loud Not Working

Use Assistive Technology or the Read Out Loud Feature Acrobat Pro DC can detect the presence of assistive technology, and if it encounters a scanned document, Acrobat will announce an audible empty page warning and display the Scanned Page Alert dialog (See “Figure 8. The Read Out Loud function works fine with Adobe Reader 7.0.9, so this seems to be happening in 8.0 only. But the form must be compatible with everything 7.0 and higher, so it must work in 8.0. I even tried downloading LiveCycle ES and saving the form in 8.0 dynamic, and still Adobe Reader 8.0 Read Out Loud function will not read the form's content.

By default, it should open within Adobe Acrobat Reader. If not, right-click and choose the “Open With” option. Once the PDF is open, click on View and select the “Read Out Loud” option at the bottom of the list. Now, the Read aloud mode is activated. Once the feature is activated, you can click on a paragraph and it’ll be read out to you. Every time I opened a PDF file in Acrobat, a window would appear to notify me that I was reading an Untagged Document that had to be prepared for reading out loud. I’d have to click “Cancel” on this dialog: “This document is untagged and must be prepared for reading. Sir/madam, the read aloud feature on microsoft edge has worked previously.but its not working since 7days.after clicking play button its not reading, please help.thank you This thread is locked. Caution:

With the Big Sur 11.0.1 update, the drivers of a few printers have become incompatible. As a result, printers may stop working, and printing from any application may cause an unexpected error.

We recommend users to download and install the latest printer driver from the printer manufacturer’s websites to resolve this problem.

Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat DC, Acrobat 2020, and Acrobat 2017 are compatible with macOS Big Sur (version 11).

When does Adobe plan to natively support Apple Silicon devices?

We are working to ensure that our apps are natively compatible with Apple Silicon devices, but do not have a release date yet. Apple Silicon devices ships with Rosetta 2, an emulator that enables ARM Macs to run Intel-based apps. Acrobat and Acrobat Reader will work on Rosetta 2 until they are available natively.

Acrobat and Acrobat Reader will run under Rosetta 2 emulation mode on Apple devices with M1 processors running macOS Big Sur. You may want to remain on your current macOS version or test in a non-production partition to ensure all your software and hardware is compatible.
