Directv app is still not working. I have also reached out to AT&T and all they had to offer were suggestions and never got a solution. At the end it was go to the App Store and report the issue to the third party who created the app. Really it is your app that we use to get your service and essentially you are blaming the third party app. Way to pass the buck AT&T. .
