Unreal Tournament's Pre-Alpha Season kicked off last weekend, and Epic Games marked the occasion by hosting a live tournament at the studio and releasing the above trailer, which looks at the new content, features, and maps players can expect.

The Pre-Alpha Season will through October and be downloaded for free from Unreal Tournament's website. There's also a Capture the Flag highlights video, which you can see below.
This marks the start of our Pre-Alpha Season, which will run through the end of October. When you play on official Epic hubs, you gain experience which will allow you to unlock new character customization options. See the Unreal Tournament website for more details. Here's what's included in the Pre-Alpha Season:
- There are 3 new maps in the build: CTF Facing Worlds, CTF Titan Pass, and CTF Pistola Battlegrounds (from community member Jayoplus, who also competed on Team Liandri).
- Players now have three ways to earn new items: online progression, offline challenges, and training accomplishments.
- The special version of items earned in the Pre-Alpha Season will not be available to unlock after this season ends. Some of these items will be permanently unlocked, giving players a symbol of their participation in the Pre-Alpha experience.
- The Infiltrator Mask is a special, limited edition item granted to anyone who completes an online match in an official Epic hub in the next week.
- There are 3 updated weapons: Link Gun, Rocket Launcher, and Sniper Rifle.
- There are 2 new characters: Visse (Necris Female), and Garog (Skaarj Trooper), and many other new items and unlockable alternate character skins. Explore the full list of possibilities here and here.
The new Unreal Tournament is getting a new update which Epic Games say its the biggest one yet, and therefore have released a new trailer which is simply put, amazing. It starts as the original UT99 trailer and then shifts to the new version (even has original monologue). The update will contain.
Hi. Well, today i downloaded Unreal Tournament, the pre-alpha season, in the epic games launcher. I downloaded it and tried to open it, but an error came up. It said:

The program cant start because UE4-UTMcpProfile-Win64-Shipping.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

then another error came up. It said:
The game module UnrealTournament could not be loaded. There may be an operating system error on the module may not be properly set up.
I re-installed the game, verified, I checked in the internet and i saw this in the forums:
I had the same problem but I solved it by finding the 'missing' file in Epic Games>UnrealTournamentDev>UnrealTournament>Binaries>Win64 and copying it in Epic Games>UnrealTournamentDev>Engine>Binaries>Win64.
I did that, but it didnt worked. I saw that more people had the same problem, but all of them, including me, have Windows 8.1.
And, when i tried to solve the problem moving the file, i found the same file but in:
C:Program FilesEpic GamesUnrealTournamentUnrealTournamentBinariesWin64
and i couldnt find the game directory here:
